They made it too long. Didn't have time to get it fixed. [shrug...] I'm used to it by now.

Being an Exorcist means constantly racing against the clock; always scrambling to get there first, to heal in as little time as possible, to live in moments. They're all used to it, but even back home, the pace's been getting to be something close to frantic. The message's clear: after 7000 years, they're finally running out of time.
And for Kanda to say he didn't even have time to fix something so basic, well—

There's just no way he would ever— He will be there.]

Date: 2011-09-13 05:18 am (UTC)as if that's even necessary?!?don't be silly, as if he'd let something so minuscule get in his way. he's been through worse. it's the scrambling battle for the last few pieces of Innocence before they're destroyed, picking up new Accomodators and giving them minimal training before throwing them into battle. between tailoring new uniforms and researching and implanting Innocence, there's little time to do anything more. the issue of the uniform being a bit too long isn't important enough to take up their time.
besides. worse case scenario, he can just cut it shorter.]
