[The feed clicks on to the sound of panicked, raspy breathing. Small fingers fumble at the device for several long seconds before words come, halting and strained.]

A-Allen! I-!... I was back in the l-lab and then I woke up here a-and- [Alma cuts off, coughing wetly away from the feed for a minute before he manages to gather himself and continue]

Yu's not br-breathing and he's not getting b-back up!

[Allen can't see it, but the pout is audible in Alma's voice.]

[~~Oops, mun was referring to 2011 calendar.~~ But hearing Alma tell Kanda off makes it better.]

[Still addressing the window, thank you Kanda:] All the more reason to come back while you can.

[He points out a few key structures to Tim, hopefully it'll be enough to get them there.]

I'll be there soon, just stay where you are.

[He... kind of doubts they'll need his help by the time he gets there, but he's not leaving anything to chance.]

They're fine, Alma. Completely healed.

[And Kanda just gives a 'tch' to Allen. Keeping his comments to himself this time.]

[Good Kanda. Have a cookie... while Alma sits down and checks himself over a bit.]

Are you sure? What happened?

[Well, that settles it. He'll just mute his PDA and leave them to talk while he works on getting past the guards.]

I got taken by surprise, that's all.

[Prodding his shoulder to make sure his arm is, indeed, firmly attached.]

You said there was a Noah.

... There was.

So what happened?

... You sure you want to know?

[Just gonna rip a strip of his cloak off to use as a hairtie now.]

[Nodding and rubbing at some dried blood on his face. It's starting to itch.]

He ambushed the camp I was protecting. He...froze me by mentioning you, and before I knew it I was unconscious, I guess.

[Frooooooown. That is certainly distressing news.]

Where was everybody else? [And where was he for that matter?]

They had their own missions around the world.

... Oh. [That's still not comforting.]

... There's not a lot of Exorcists around.

[A little nod. Even Alma understands why that is.]
