[The feed opens to a smiling Alma against a backdrop of shifting tree branches. His cheeks are red from the cold and his little puffs of breath are quickly blown away by the wind, but the weather doesn't seem to bother him in the least.]

Look how far you can see! I didn't even have to climb that far.

[The camera is promptly turned around to show a pretty decent view of the city. Nothing like what you might get from atop a building, but there's a sense of accomplishment gained from tree-climbing that stairs just can't compete with.]

SUCCESS! Congratulations, boys, Alma now has two papas. At least that's what it'll look like if anyone happens to look out a window right now.

[And look how brightly Allen papa's smiling, like that'll blind everyone from seeing the awkward. Good thing Nesreca's abandoned and everything. Less witnesses. But if it makes Alma happy, he can live with it... and make the best of it by swinging Alma's hand a little.

It is kind of a relief to be back where it's (slightly) warmer again, though. Alma's definitely going to have to leave his clothes out to dry. His pants at least.]

...Except he's regarding Alma's clothes with mild dismay now. They really need to get more clothes for everyone.]

[Taking a moment to sift through his memories now.]

I can dry these for you if you want. It'll go faster if I start a fire.

[Oblivious to the shift in that smile, sir. Mostly because there are hair ruffles. Hair ruffles are awesome.]
