[The feed opens to a smiling Alma against a backdrop of shifting tree branches. His cheeks are red from the cold and his little puffs of breath are quickly blown away by the wind, but the weather doesn't seem to bother him in the least.]

Look how far you can see! I didn't even have to climb that far.

[The camera is promptly turned around to show a pretty decent view of the city. Nothing like what you might get from atop a building, but there's a sense of accomplishment gained from tree-climbing that stairs just can't compete with.]

[Is sadly oblivious and hovering like a mother hen.]

H-Hey, there's no hurry! Watch where you put your feet. [Climbs after, always just a branch or two down from Alma.]

[Excited child is excited, and therefore, ignoring poor Allen's attempts. His feet slip on the snow once or twice, but he still manages to make his way a good distance further up the tree.]

[Allen's having his fair share of mild heart attacks somewhere below Alma, and picturing twelve ways Kanda might murder him if the boy somehow falls. Ten by Mugen. Buuuut they make it up the tree without any actual mishaps, so yay!]

[Poor, poor Allen. Just... pffft.

Alma pauses on a sturdy branch to catch his breath, grinning down at Allen.]

[Grinning back up at him~ This is kind of fun, even if the Innocence fragment holding his heart together may not survive the trip.]

Don't just look at me, take a look around!

... What are you two doing.

[SUP GAISE.]

[And look around he does!... Until Kanda shows up and startles him right off the branch he's standing on. Oops.]

[Looking around too at the sound of Kanda's voice.]

Kan--AHHHH!! [CLOWN BELT TO THE RESCUE. Going to catch and reel you in like a fish now, Alma.]

[Just a sigh.]

... I knew you would fall, Alma.

[Ah, falling-!... Not falling? Whoa... that's pretty neat.]

I didn't fall until you scared me!

[Reeeeeels Alma right in until he can wrap an arm around the boy's waist and set him on a very sturdy branch.]

That was close.

The fall wouldn't have hurt you anyway.

[Trying to decide if climbing up is too childish or not.]

Thank you, Allen! [He flashes Allen a smile... and then goes right back to arguing with Kanda. Aren't you so glad to be stuck with these two, Allen?]

I still wouldn't fall on purpose.

[He's just going to deactivate his arm and watch for a bit. It feels weird to not be the one arguing with Kanda for once.]

Like I'd scare you on purpose.

[Attempts to foil the impending fight by clearing his throat.]

Have something to say, bean sprout?

[Blinkblinking at the both of you.]

[He was going to say something appropriately cheerful and distracting, but your tone of voice is really uncalled for, so.]

You would so, bean stalk.

[Don't worry about it Alma, it's a law of nature that any quarrel occurring within 10 feet of Allen and Kanda shall be theirs to adopt.]

The hell would you know?

[Both of you are gonna make him climb up. He can feel it.]

[Alma blinks between them again before giggling and putting on a mischievous expression.]

Because Alma always knows better than you~

[Dons a perfectly angelic smile of his own. Look at them Kanda, waaaay out of reach on this tree, side by side. Feel like climbing up yet?]
