003 ☯ Alma [VIDEO]

[The feed opens to a smiling Alma against a backdrop of shifting tree branches. His cheeks are red from the cold and his little puffs of breath are quickly blown away by the wind, but the weather doesn't seem to bother him in the least.]

Look how far you can see! I didn't even have to climb that far.

[The camera is promptly turned around to show a pretty decent view of the city. Nothing like what you might get from atop a building, but there's a sense of accomplishment gained from tree-climbing that stairs just can't compete with.]

Allen! [His excitement is... impressive. It's only pure luck that keeps him properly seated on his perch as he wiggles in excitement.]

[Picks up his communicator and starts moving outside.]

[A hint of a frown slips into his expression, but he covers it quickly with an earnest nod and a smile.]

I will! [And on that branch is where Allen will find him... well, he'll find him standing on the branch anyway, one hand on the trunk of the tree for balance as he waves at Allen once the exorcist comes into view.]

[Alma seems to be handling himself just fine, so despite being ready to catch him if he falls, Allen won't actually say anything about it. Waving back now.]

Hi--? [And here's Allen's left hand jerking up at you in a series of small, aborted gestures, only attaching itself back to the trunk when it's clear you're not going to fall.] ...I'll come see!

[Scrambles the rest of the way up! Better to make sure you're within reach.]

I do to. But you can't stay outside when it's cold. You're get sick and stuff.

Yeah it can. It can even burn if it's really cold. That's why you should try to get warm soon.
